Writer's Block: Avast, me hearties!

My hideout would be on an island that used to be a volcano. The outsides would be impenetrable, as the volcanic rock would be too painful on one side to be a good place for people, and the other side would be where a dense forest had grown up, with tunnels that weaved through, and you're only safe if you're one of my people and know the tunnel system.  Inside the center would be treehouses like in the Swiss Family Robinson, and places for people to rest. The island would have a set of sharp, rocky areas outside on the ocean, and a nice cove at the end of a maze for them to anchor in. If you don't know the way through the maze of rocks, your ship sinks.

Hi there and thank you for your interest! It would definitely be okay to turn a fic in early. I just leave them in the queue until the 20th and then post all the fics at once. It's entirely up to you if you'd like to give it a shot. :) We have a fair number of pinch hitters (myself included) so if you decide to take part in the challenge we can probably still get a fill in if you can't make the deadline as long as you let us know on the Saturday prior.

Alternatively, if there's a prompt that catches your eye that you would like to write, you can let me know ahead of time and I can ask them if they're willing to wait a little extra for a fill.
